“Where learning about art becomes an act of creation.”

Developed by Dr. Mohsen Veysi, Art History in Practice is a unique educational approach that bridges art history and studio practice, transforming the study of art into a creative process. These workshops invite participants to explore ideas, materials, and techniques from both historical and contemporary art, understanding them not as distant subjects but as living, evolving sources of insight and inspiration.
Designed for artists, educators, and creative thinkers, each session blends critical reflection with hands-on making, showing how art theory and visual culture can directly inform and transform creative practice. Through guided discussions, visual analysis, and studio experimentation, participants learn to translate concepts into form — discovering new ways to engage with art’s meanings and methods.
Courses are flexible in format and duration, offered both in-person and online, ranging from 7 to 15 weeks. Whether you’re looking to deepen your practice, enrich your teaching, or bridge the gap between thinking and making, Art History in Practice provides a space where ideas become action and theory becomes creation.
